Ultimate ASP.NET Core Web API

Go from zero to production-ready ASP.NET Core Web APIs in .NET 10

Course Summary

Our bestselling program teaches you to build Web APIs the way production teams do. You start with project setup and a clean Onion Architecture, and work up to security, versioning, caching and documentation, all in .NET 10.

The package also includes two more courses, Dockerizing ASP.NET Core Applications and Mastering ASP.NET Core Security, plus a book on Web API with Dapper and a ready collection of JSON requests.

What Will You Learn?

  • Set up a Web API project with logging, dependency injection and Onion Architecture
  • Handle every kind of HTTP request with routing, binding and validation
  • Return the right format with content negotiation and global error handling
  • Add paging, filtering, searching and sorting to large data sets
  • Secure your API with authentication, authorization and refresh tokens
  • Version, document and health-check your API
  • Improve performance, and add CQRS with MediatR

Course Description

It is a text course you read at your own pace, with the full source code in .NET 10 (and the .NET 9 source too) and a Discord community for your questions.

I think it is a great course It shows many aspects and it is well documented. I would suggest to update the code on some libraries. also change swagger for scalar and user azure for deploy rather than IIS

I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot — I’ve even recommended it to others. One improvement I'd suggest is adding links to earlier lessons when key concepts are referenced later on. Since I completed the course over several months, fitting it in around other responsibilities, it was sometimes challenging to locate where certain ideas were originally explained.

Excellent course! The only recommendation I'd make is to include the CQRS/MediatR and Discriminated Unions as part of the course much earlier instead of them being bonus material.

I appreciate the effort that went into producing this course.

The text-based nature of the course made my learning more effective, as I prefer textual materials to videos.

The instructor was quite knowledgeable and the presentation and delivery of the content were nice.

I look forward to taking the rest of the courses I purchased from CodeMaze.

They offer real value for money.

This book was instrumental in helping me secure a position at a multinational software company. As someone working with enterprise-grade APIs, I found its content to be both comprehensive and approachable. The author has a talent for breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible explanations, making even advanced topics feel accessible.

The chapters are well-structured, taking you step-by-step through the intricacies of C# and its application in building robust APIs. It’s not just a book to read—it’s a resource you’ll want to revisit repeatedly. The practical examples and exercises made it easy for me to translate the knowledge into real-world projects, which undoubtedly gave me an edge during interviews and in my day-to-day work.

If you're serious about advancing your career in software development, this book is a fantastic investment. It's clear, well-organized, and packed with actionable insights that will make you a more confident and capable developer. Highly recommended!
